Welcome to Horse Isle! You have just started the game. This is you on Welcome Isle. Remember that once you leave this Isle, you will never be coming back. Next to this photo is a white window talking about this Isle and below will be two chat windows. We'll talk more later about the Left Chat Window, so for now our focus will be on the Right Chat Window. This is where it will show some quest information. Right now, it will say to visit the man in the cabin.
Now, you will notice that pressing the arrow keys will control how you move. Your character right now looks like a bald baby but you can change that. Find the Profile button. It will be in a list of buttons that run from left to right in between the chat windows and game picture windows. Once there you can add some words about yourself and change your little person's picture to be what ever you choose. Hit save profile when you are done. Now comes your first goal: Getting off Welcome Isle!

Getting off Welcome Isle
To leave Welcome Isle, you first want to visit the cabin you see. Just walk right into it. There you will meet Welcome Willy. Click Talk. There will be several questions you can ask him to learn more about Horse Isle. Now, the question you want to ask him so you can get off the Isle is: "I don't have any money for the boat ride! Can you give me any?"
He will tell you: "Actually, I don't. But I believe there is a buried treasure just below the Giant Rock on this island. You'll have to dig to get to it."
He will tell you: "Actually, I don't. But I believe there is a buried treasure just below the Giant Rock on this island. You'll have to dig to get to it."
Go north of the sign and stand right beneath the large rock. Click on your wrench and click dig. In your Right Chat Box, you will see this message pop up: "After digging, you uncovered a Buried Treasure! $1000 was inside. That should be plenty for the boat ride now."
Now, take one step to the right. In your white box next to the box that looks like the picture above you will see a little picture and the words: "Ebenezer, a barnacle-encrusted horseshoe crab." Click Talk. You have different choices of what you can say to him but make sure you agree to find what he wants you to find for me. Below, I have put the conversation I used with him:
Continue the conversation and he will tell you: "Why don't you go rake through the seaweed on the west side of those rocks. Some stuff got washed up there during the last storm." Tell him you will do it.

- "Oops! I didn't see you. Hey! You're a horseshoe crab. Aren't you supposed to be extinct?"
- "Okay, Ebenezer, living fossil, whatever. This is Horse Isle, and I don't have a horse. Can you give me one?"
- "So how about you give me some money then?"
- "Unless? Does that mean MAYBE?"
Continue the conversation and he will tell you: "Why don't you go rake through the seaweed on the west side of those rocks. Some stuff got washed up there during the last storm." Tell him you will do it.
Now, go to the spot in the picture. You'll be standing on some greenish stuff which is Flotsam. Click on your wrench like you did to dig by the rock. You'll also see the option to rake. Click Rake.
You will now get this message in your Right Chat Window: You carefully rake through the seaweed and see something brightly colored.
You found a Fuchsia Umbrella! This should be perfect for Ebenezer. You grab it and hurry back to show him.
Go back to Ebenezer and talk to him again. Give him the umbrella and he will give you 10 pearls. You can click the Inventory button between the Stats button and the Horses button to see your pearls. You can keep talking to Ebenezer and asking him for money and he will tell you about Roxie the turtle.

Roxie's Quiz
I advise you to find her and do her quiz because she will give you some ore (which you can sell for money) and also because the quiz will help you learn your way around the map. She's in the green grass a little below the sign. She is not hard to find so I don't have a screen shot of it. You will see this in the top right window:
Roxie, Welcome Isle's Tortoise
Talk to her and do all of her quiz. The questions are not hard so I have not posted the answers. I believe you should do them and you will quickly learn on your own. For example: the first question asks which forest is NOT on hare isle. Click on Map and you will see a map of all the Isles and a red flag saying where you are at. Find Hare Isle. Hold your mouse over the Isle. The darker spots are the forests. You will see that there is a Velveteen Forest, a Thumper Forest, and a Bunny Hop Forest. You now know that the only forest there is NOT is Showshoe Forest. That is your first answer.
After finishing the quiz, you will now have 10 chunks of copper ore, 4 chunks of gold ore, 4 chunks of silver ore, and 1 seashell necklace.

Leaving Welcome Isle
You are now ready to leave the Isle! My last advice is to wander around on the beach of the Isle just in case you may find a few gems. These will be good to sell for money or keep for future quests.
To leave, walk into the dock on the left side of the Isle. You have $1,000 but the trip will only cost $100. Take the trip. You will find yourself on Horse Isle in the city Earton.

Getting Started
Now, since this is a horse-based game, you get to own and ride horses. (See Horses tab for more details.)
In order to get a good start on the game, don't worry about getting a horse right now. Also, don't worry about even leaving the city of Earton yet until you have some more money. Wander the beaches to find gems to sell to the Rock store for more money. Here is a list of quests that you can find and complete in Earton. They pay good money and don't cost you anything.
